Current: Herbal Essences Honey, I'm Strong

I will be starting to post about what I am currently using as my shampoo and conditioner. This will let you know what I am using and how I feel about it. I like to try new things, so I thought this would be a great way to record it.
I'm pretty sure you all have heard of Herbal Essences and probably have tried something from one of their lines. This shampoo targets those who want to have something that can help strengthen their hair so you will have long, healthy, and strong hair. I don't know if this really helps with my hair being longer because I was blessed to have genes where my hair grows relatively fast. I'm not too sure if this really helps my hair keep healthy, because I never really experienced problems with dry, damaged hair. Even if I do have damaged hair it would be split ends which I solve by getting a trim.
I have pretty long hair and do use heat once in a while and haven't discovered any split ends so I'm guessing this shampoo is doing the trick?
One thing I do like about this shampoo is that it smells terrific! I don't think it smells like honey...like the bottle states. Though I kind of feel this shampoo does make hair feel a little heavy and my hair does get greasy a lot faster, especially since I wash my hair every other day. Other than that, I do enjoy this shampoo and conditioner a lot!

August 2013 Favorites

I'm going to start doing a favorites post each month on my blog! I thought it would be a easy way to share my thoughts and opinion on what I'm liking. Maybe I'll start adding other favorites that are non-beauty? Anyways without further ado, let's start!

Physician's Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Lash Boosting Mascara:
I love this mascara! It gives my lashes a good even coat of volume without looking clumpy. This mascara isn't a very "wet" mascara, so it dries fast and helps me hold a curl. One downfall I found with this is that it smudges on me, so I just had a waterproof mascara on top and it lasts all day! This mascara combo gives my lashes a falsie effect.

EOS Lip Balm in Passionfruit:
I've had an obsession with EOS lip balms since I discovered them my freshman year of high school! I love how they come in a little ball shape, and it gives me the perfect amount of hydration that doesn't feel like something is sitting on my lips. I've tried a lot of their scents and this one I just discovered and have been using this as a lip balm non stop! It's not too sweet or fruity but the perfect amount of each combined.

Essie's Nail Polish in Boxer Shorts:
This color is a shade of purple that I don't own in my collection. It's a purple that has a blue undertone in it. It's still a bright color but dark at the same time, perfect for a transitioning from summer to fall.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation:
I have been using this foundation almost every single day of the week. This foundation may replace my holy grail Revlon Colorstay. One of the main reasons is that this foundation has a pump, something Revlon can really work on! Also this literally lasts all day on my face without it moving around in the hot summer months. If you're looking for a new foundation definitely check this one out.
(For color references I'm around a NC25-30 and I use 842 Medium Beige)

Maybelline's Color Whisper in Petal Rebel:
I have already done a review on this lip stick. Now this color just looks great for the summer time. It's a really pretty pink color.
You can check out the review here.

Biore Acne Clearing Scrub:
I love this scrub and use it every night in the shower! It isn't abrasive to the skin because it uses little microbeads to help you scrub off the dead skin cells. I found that this helped a lot with my acne. And I have used this for the past 4 months? I think this is my favorite cleanser/scrub from Biore.
