H&M Lipstick in Darling Pink

I went into H&M the other day walking around and stumbled upon the makeup area. I saw these lipsticks and saw this color "Darling Pink" and I thought wow this is so pretty! These lipsticks are $5.95 which isn't too expensive so I thought eh why not? "Darling Pink" is a pretty pink that isn't too bright. It's a nice wearable color that's not too nude or too bright, it's actually the perfect amount of color to brighten up your look. One thing I found that I didn't like about this lipstick is the packaging and the way it feels on my lips. The packaging tends to feel pretty cheap especially when you twist the lipstick up. This lipstick can make my lips feel pretty dry. Other than those 2 cons, this is a pretty good lipstick!

love & beauty by Forever 21 Eyelash Curler

Went to Forever 21 and saw this whole display of makeup and makeup tools! I saw so many eyelash curlers in so many colors I couldn't resist and decided to buy one! The majority of the eyelash curlers are only $2.80! With that price...I just HAD to get one. So I bought the one in gold with the black padding. I came home and tried it out. I must say I am really impressed. A lash curler this cheap actually curls my lashes and the curl actually lasts!

Nars And God Created The Woman Eye Kit

When I got the e-mail from Sephora that there was this new eye kit I knew I wanted this! Finally picked it up yesterday and my first impression was that this kit looked so much smaller than what I imagined. Anyways I was so excited to have bought this palette! The colors are so pretty in this palette and the eyeshadow primer and little brush is just a bonus!
I feel that this kit is really worth your money $59 for 6 shadows, an eyeshadow, and a brush! I haven't tried out the base yet but I have heard good things. The brush is so small yet the bristles are so dense and packed. This is a great palette and really worth the money! If you're interested definitely go and give this a try.

Too Faced Glamour to Go

I got this palette as a gift for my Birthday/Christmas! I must say this palette is exactly what it's called "Glamour to Go" because you can just take this palette with you and you would be set for the day! It has 8 eye shadows, 1 blush, 1 bronzer, and 1 lip gloss. Now the eye shadows are somewhat pigmented not all of them have the best pigmentation but some of the pigmentation is amazing! The blush is a really pretty peachy-pink color, and I do enjoy the blush a lot. The bronzer on the other hand tends to look too orange for me. So I do not really use it too much. The lip gloss is a pretty pearlescent champagne color and if you don't blend it out, it can look a little weird on your lips. Overall this palette is great if you really need to take one palette with you because it has everything you would need!

Chevron Canvas

So I had this old canvas since freshman year. Now as you can tell from the before pics I am not artistic. I had this project to do when I was freshman and it just did not come out right (good thing I had an extra canvas, so my final project was not bad). Anyways, I was bored on my Sunday night so I thought why not revamp this old canvas I had? So I googled how to make a chevron canvas and made my boxes and painted this. Now I had very minimal tools to do this. Did not have enough white paint...used scotch tape instead of masking tape...my canvas was not white. I am sure if you want to make one and had the right tools your canvas will come out a lot better than mine!

Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in Cruise Collection

I guess these lipsticks are relatively new at the drugstore. Now the name Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede is quite a LONG name. I know these lipsticks are a "I love it" or "I hate it" kind of thing. In my opinion I like these lipsticks. The pigmentation is amazing and the lasting power is pretty good as well! I drank water and it transfers a little but the color is still there! One thing I don't really like about it is that they tend to feel a little sticky on my lips. I can feel something sticky is on my lips when I rub my lips together. I guess that is the only way the lipstick won't dry out your lips. One thing I find this color "Cruise Collection" particularly misleading is on the lipstick the color looks like a coral while when you apply it on your lips it looks more like a red with a hint of orange to it.  If you are curious about them, go and pick one up and I'm sure the drugstores will let you return them if you really hate them!

Essie's A Lot of Shekels

This color can be described as a pearlescent champagne nude. This color is a gorgeous nude that appears to be sheer in the bottle but is quite opaque on your nails. Pictured above is 2 coats of color. It gives my nails a very pretty sheen. When I first bought this color I thought to myself this color would be hard to work with but surprisingly it worked a lot better than I thought. And unfortunately this color is discontinued but if you see it in stores and are looking for that perfect nude. Go ahead and grab it!

Lioele Blooming Gloss in Vanilla Pink

Lioele's Blooming Gloss in #5 Vanilla Pink is probably my favorite lip gloss of all time! First of all the scent from this gloss is just divine! It smells like lychee and strawberry and I can't describe it. All I know is that it smells fruity and delicious! I always want to lick this off my lips. Second thing is that this lip gloss when applying is so smooth. It's not your typical sticky gloss and the color is one of those your lip color but better. If you were debating if you should get one and which color I would go with Vanilla Pink!

Maybelline's Color Whisper in Pin Up Peach

As you can tell from my previous post. I have been really enjoying the new Maybelline Color Whispers. I previously purchased Go Nude and I really enjoyed it! So I decided to pick up "Pin Up Peach" this color sounds nothing like the name of the lipstick. It looks nothing peachy but more like a fuchsia pink. Though when applied to my lips it looked like a nice pink color with a shine to it. The color is definitely nothing like the name of the color. The formula to this lipstick is something that I have enjoyed the most. It is such a nice and creamy lipstick that just glides on my lips. These Color Whisper's are definitely a color where you can apply without a mirror.

Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express

Maybelline's new mascara The Rocket Volum' Express! I picked this up after hearing so many people rave about how much they like this mascara. Many have also said that they like this better than the Falsies mascara (the Falsies is my HG mascara). I do enjoy this mascara quite a lot it gives you lots of volume giving your lashes a nice boost. The only thing I find that this is lacking is the length and this mascara is quite wet which I find leaves my lashes drooping after a minute. And the brush is a plastic applicator and reminds me of the CoverGirl's Lashblast in the orange tube.

Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo

This may have to be my favorite dry shampoo! I adore this to pieces. This gives my hair a nice matte finish. It does not leave my hair feeling heavy. And since I have dark hair it does not leave a film of white on my hair where I have to brush it out. Since I wash my hair every other day I spray this on second day old hair and it gives my hair another day till I wash it. The only downfall to this product is the smell. It is one of those I love it or I hate it kind of smell. The smell is very zesty and fresh. At first I did not like this smell but as I used it and went through an entire bottle, I got used to it and don't mind it at all now.

Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eyeliner

I purchased this eyeliner after watching a YouTube video and someone was raving about it. Now I must say I have really never heard of this eyeliner before and did not know it even existed. So I went into my CVS and bought it. I believe it was $8.69 or something similar to that price point. Now I have worn it a couple times. I must say I really like it! It is nice, dark, thin, smudge proof, and best of all the applicator is a felt tip! Now I have tried felt tip eyeliners where the tip was very hard and I can not grasp the hold of gliding the eyeliner across my lash line. If you are looking for a new and fairly inexpensive eyeliner go and try this one out!
